1) Drink 16 oz of Water After You Get Up

If you want to start the day off right, make sure to drink at least 16oz water in the morning after getting up. Not only will this help you rehydrate after not drinking anything for 7-9 hours, but will also kick-start your metabolism and help you keep your muscles energized.

Because we are composed of at least 60% water, by making this a daily habit, you will maintain good energy levels throughout the day, and help your workouts be as effective as possible!

2) Eat Breakfast Within One Hour of Waking Up

When you get up, you haven’t eating anything for 8-10 hours. It is essential that you break the fast with a healthy meal that provides you with the nutrients you need to get through the day.

The best part about this meal is that it kick starts your metabolism. Ideally, if you go to your bootcamp workouts in the morning, make sure that you give yourself a 2-3 hour window before you begin exercise for optimal results.

Don’t forget to eat protein after your workout too, so your muscles repair themselves properly!

3) Do Three Sets of Light Exercise in the Morning After Breakfast

If you don’t have a boot camp in NJ workout scheduled for the day, it is always smart to do a mini 15-minute workout in the morning after breakfast. The best way to put a workout together like this is to choose three exercises that only require the use of your own body weight.

Once you have your three exercises selected, complete of them (10-15 reps) one after the other for one set, and then take a 30 second breather. Do this two more times and you will be well on your way to maintaining a beautiful physique.

By doing exercise in this fashion (intervals), it keeps your metabolism humming, and gives you more energy throughout the day.

4) Give Yourself at Least One Cheat Meal Per Week

As you are focused on achieving your ideal body transformation goal, it is essential that you give yourself one cheat meal per week. By having a “free meal” to eat whatever you want, it resets your system and keeps your body guessing. (Which is what you want to always be doing for optimal results.)

Feel free to eat the food that you know isn’t good for you, but only do it for one meal per week. Studies have shown that by resetting your system like this, your metabolism stays high and you will burn more fat over time.
